A little bit about me….
Hello! I’m Ali (she/her.) I live in Gunnison County, CO, and love my quirky ski town community of Crested Butte. My path to becoming a sex-positive somatic psychotherapist was not direct, but there is a theme throughout my life of seeking to connect with the basic goodness that lives within us all, and wanting to support authenticity and liberation for myself and others.
Living in a close-knit community for many years has given me a beautiful vantage point of seeing both friends and relative strangers share joy, express suffering, grieve loss, transition into new chapters of life, and evolve into someone new. When the pandemic hit, I needed to embrace my own transition. Today, I’m grateful that I can learn from and be challenged by the Naropa University and Sexual Health Alliance communities even as I live in a remote area of the Rocky Mountains.
Some of the identities that I hold include: multiply neurodivergent, queer, and biracial. In our work together, we can bring in the identities that help connect you with your own resilience and wisdom: cultural, spiritual, sexual, gender-related, or just about anything else. All of you is welcome in our work together.
